Annual Early Years Service Profile and Survey on Income and Costs 2020/2021

The Early Years Service Profile and Survey on Income and Costs is now live on the HIVE. The annual survey is developed by Pobal on behalf of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth and in consultation with key stakeholders in the Early Learning and Care (ELC) and School-Age Childcare (SAC) sector. This year’s survey in particular will help Government understand the impact of COVID-19 on the ELC and SAC sector. It will also inform essential policy, planning and investment in the months ahead. All services are asked to participate in this survey by completing the profile on the HIVE.

The deadline for completing both surveys is 5pm, Friday 11th June.

The data provided by services has been used to advise Government for over 18 years and we hope to continue this important data collection this year. Only these inputs can ensure that we can maintain an accurate, up-to-date and evidence-based profile of the ELC and SAC sector in Ireland and plan for its future development.
