Less Than 2 Weeks to Go to the Wests Biggest Womens Only Participation Event

DON'T MISS OUT - With less than 2 weeks to go until the Mayo.ie Western People Women's Mini Marathon. Closing Date to get T-Shirt and Medal is Friday 23rd April !! Event organisers Mayo Sports Partnership are making a final call for women, teens and families to get involved.
Currently 1,500 women from all over the West, Ireland and beyond in countries such as the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand are registered for this years virtual event which is also part of the Mayo Day celebrations. Close to 300 teenagers from a number of schools across Mayo are also ready to go having participated in a 30 mins a day activity challenge during April.
In addition, 700 Primary School Children are signed up for the Primary Schools 2K Fun Run which also forms part of the weekends activities.
Event ambassador Sonia O Sullivan who has came to Castlebar for a number of years for this great occasion has lent her support once again.
“While we may not be able to meet physically this year the virtual event allows us all to take part where ever we are. Why not get out there over the Bank Holiday Weekend and support your frontline heroes”
Over the May Bank Holiday Weekend May 1st - 3rd. You can complete 10k 'Your Way' for 'Your Hero' and raise funds for charity at the same time.!
