NOTICE OF VARIATION OF BASIC RATE OF LOCAL PROPERTY TAX

In pursuance of the provisions of section 20 of the FINANCE (LOCAL PROPERTY TAX) ACT 2012 (as amended), I the undersigned, hereby notify the passing of a resolution at a meeting of Mayo County Council on 14th September 2020 to the effect that the basic rate of Local Property Tax should stand varied upwards by ten per cent for the financial year ending 31st December 2021 in respect of relevant residential properties situated in the local authority’s administrative area. The varied rate shall take effect from the 1st November 2020.
