Speaking of the Fund John Magee, A/Director of Services at Mayo County Council says “Businesses are under huge cashflow pressures in the current strained operating environment and this support can help with ongoing costs related to health & safety measures for staff & customers, insurance, buying stock, re-employing staff, etc. This support assists businesses to trade at this difficult time.”

Cathaoirleach of Mayo County Council Cllr Richard Finn has welcomed the Fund: “This Fund will help provide further support to Mayo businesses facing multiple trading challenges. I encourage business owners to apply for the support and to liaise with their local Council Income Collectors if they have any queries. I also call on people to continue to support local businesses at this time”.
