Met Éireann Weather Warning

On Saturday morning and afternoon strong southwest to west winds associated with Storm Aiden will reach mean speeds of 65 to 80km/h, with severe and damaging gusts of 100 to 130km/h.

Road Update

Mayo County Council road crews are dealing will a number of trees down and areas where flooding have occured.

⚠️ Westport- Belmullet
Flooding on the N59 at Carrabawn Westport
(road is passable - drive with caution)

Due to the high risk of the R-313 at Bunduaile, Belmullet being flooded from wave overtopping of the seawall at this location. The R-313 will be closed from 2pm Friday 30/10/2020 until 9am Monday 02/11/2020 Diversion routes will be in place
