Where you have a historical query regarding a Fire Safety Certificate or information relating to the fire safety of a building or premises please fill out the query form below.
Please note that due to COVID restrictions Mayo Fire Service can no longer arrange viewings for Technical Advisers/members of the public at our offices. Please also note that while we are happy to assist you in your enquiry, we are not a Record’s Office and therefore do not have the resource to accommodate enquiries where little or no knowledge is available.
In order for us to carry out a search a relevant Fire Safety Certificate Reference Number is to be provided.
Where the reference number is unknown, or you are enquiring after a building/ premises alone the following information is required as a minimum. Please note that a search cannot be carried out without this information:
- Building owner
- Premises address and Eircode
- Type/usage of building
Please note that due to GDPR requirements, it is not possible for Mayo Fire Service to make available any information regarding premises/buildings/ owners unless evidence can be provided that the person enquiring after the building/premises has a right to that knowledge.
Due to the high amounts of queries submitted to this office, please note your query will be dealt with on rotation and in due course once we receive all relevant information.
Where the search is successful please note that the following documentation is available for purchase:
- A copy of the Fire Safety Certificate document: €12.50.
- A copy of the Fire Safety Certificate Compliance Report: €5.
- A copy of the Fire Safety Certificate Drawings in black and white: €1 per sheet (A4 or A3 only)
- A copy of the Fire Safety Certificate Drawings in colour: €2 per sheet (A4 or A3 only)
