Mortgage Interest Relief
Local Authorities have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that Mortgage Interest Relief is to be abolished entirely at the end of 2020.
Mortgage Interest Relief will cease for all active housing loans with effect from 1st January 2021.
How Can I Pay My Housing Loan?
- Household budget deduction from social welfare payment.
- Standing order - (Details available from your back and the Housing Loan Repayment Section of Mayo County Council)
- Payment to the Cash Office located in any Municipal District of Mayo County Council.
